What’s going on with dairygold butter

Has the recipe changed or something since roughly Christmas time?

I can’t get the fecking thing to stay on the butter knife!

Another family member (different household) mentioned the same.

Any one else noticed this?

By the way, you might get abuse about calling it butter. The national dairy council members here don’t like it

Ingredients

Cream, Palm Oil, Rapeseed Oil, Salt, Colour (Carotenes)

Real butter has only two ingredients, cream and salt.

I wonder have they increased the amount of palm oil or rap seed oil vs cream lately.

As above Dairygold is a vegetable oil spread or margarine.

Should be forced to drop the Dairy portion from the name as there is none in it.

If you decide to change to butter, get the €2.49 pack from various supermarkets. Kerrygold butter is the same product in a different wrapper, but for €3.75.

Any butter I get goes in the fridge.

I’ve had kerrygold once or twice but don’t wanna be looking at it every time I go to the kitchen. The fridge is the place for butter to go.

In the kitchen. Room temperature is the only way to use butter.

If your using from the fridge you'd be better off with Icantbelieveitsnotbutter

Buy any own brand butter but the ones in a wrapper not in a tub. Buy a nice butter dish and leave out of the fridge.
