Vlookup frustrations/Reddit excel help

    Wanted to post this to excel Reddit page but doesn’t meet community requirements no not sure why so asking here for a solution to the excel problem or the adding to Reddit community problem…


    I have frustrations with vlookups when the numbers that act as the reference are the same but the formula still throws back a #N/A. I know you can get around this with the trim function but if the report has multiple vlookups then using a trim function on the reference will then cause other vlookups to throw back an #N/A. I don’t think changing the format or using format painter helps.


    Not sure people will understand my issue from the description but there it is anyway…
