Dog kennel looking for 250 euro reclaim fee and 100 euro microchip fee

I never agreed to have my dog microchipped.

I never agreed to a reclaim fee.

I just want my dog, I'm not been held ransom.

I was going to give them 100 anyway. If they asked if I could afford an extra 50 I would or saying no problem they do good work.

Next steps is solicitor. I'm not been held ransom by anyone. There holding my dog. It's like something out of sopranoes

All dogs are legally required to be micro chipped so one would assume the T&C's would say if you put a dog in without one they will do it and charge you for it?

I don't think you get it do you?? You were in breach of the law... you were legally required to have the dog microchipped and for whatever reason you thought it wasn't worth your while and now you've been caught out. 100% your fault - no one here I'd say will have least sympathy for you.

I'm going to the gaurda tomorrow and will explain the situation. I want my dog microchipped but they won't give me the dog.

If your car tax was out a day or NCT would what would you do if impounded your car and demanded you get these up to date before I release it?

Some people have to realize that holding someone to ransom is not right.

Is there a breakdown of what the €250 reclaim fee is made up of, seems very steep? Is the dog being fed steaks from Shannahans while in the kennel?

The fee for Gardai towing a car is €125 and then €35 for every 24 hours.
