    Hi All,

I am buying a second hand car for approximately €1,000 to €2,000.

I am of the opinion that Ford Focuses or Volkwagen Golfs are the best cars for second hand parts availability.

If anyone has more up to date information on this, that would be most welcome.

Thanks in Advance for all responses.

Your choice of car shouldn’t be based on the availability of second hand parts. There are more important things to consider

Agreed with the previous poster, this is no longer the 90s. Spare parts arent an issue for any mainstream car. Ebay and the likes have made parts from all across Europe readily availabvle.

the trick is buying a car that does not need a whole pile of spare parts .I bought a few old caddys and they would not inspire mighty confidence in vw would say it all depends on the year of the golf for relability ,corolla surely worth a look as well as focus depends what shows up on dd and is genuine
