Mortgage ending this year

    So our mortgage, originally taken out with ICS which transferred to BOI a number of years back is due to end this year.

    Is there some process that happens towards the end or immediately after the final payment? Will BOI write to us? Are the deeds issued to us automatically?

    As regards the BOI mortgage viewer, I’ve registered but it doesn’t seem to accept the account number, the one that’s printed on BOI correspondence, it’s the original ICS mortgage account number?
