Mechanical animation / design tool recommendation

Hi, I'm looking for some, I guess, CAD software that can do something like shown in this video:

It does not need to be attractive as this, a simple line drawing will do.

I have zero experience of this so something easy to use at the expense of features would be good.

Naturally, open source would be nice, but willing to pay say 200-300 provided I can have a trial first

Autodesk Fusion 360 would be your best bet for this, at your price point.

Hi thanks for that. I downloaded that actually, the free version. But it could not export to the format I needed to send to a supplier for laser cutting (DWG I think). The next level up on the freemium pricing was a monthly fee of something like €70 a month, which was a bit too much for my very rare usage.

I used this instead:

Nowhere as fancy as Fusion, but did the job for me.
