Any fancies anyone? Horse them up! 😊

I feel decidedly unmotivated to have a look at tomorrow's racecards, so no picks from me..

Ahh don't start now, Lingers running, Wolves running, add Dundalk into the mix! Great day to be had... at work...

Classy Dame in Ling 3:30, CD specialist; Giuliana 6:30 Dundalk with tons of experience and gently ridden last time, there ya go, my 2mins analysis.

4:20 Lingers Nazca 13/2 as an alternative to red hot favorite.

Oh aye, that Classy Dame should go close in the 3.50 Ling.. Am trying to build a case for Rhubarb Bikini in that same race.. think he's interesting, cos race is over 10fs, but he doesn't really seem to stay at anything north of a mile.. Based on that, he's of some interest; plus in his 3 wins over a mile, he's made all.. Maybe be held up tomorrow and go well under different tactics.. win only bet on him if I back..

me noodle is frazzled... enough studying done for one day.. watch a bitta TV and that'll keep me entertained this eve.

I might have a small wager on that Socially Shady in the 18:15. Previous form with the favourite here

    3.20 Lingfield

Looks like this one could have the shape of one of them 'lively betting heat' races... Plenty of pacey/get on with it sorts, and many are stepping up in trip, so unless there's a major plunge on one of the short ones, and even if so, I can see the market being very fluid, with lots here going in and out in price..

Pillars Of Earth is one I can overlook based on being upped in trip.. Won his last two races strongly enough, and was strong in the end.. 2fs extra tomorrow though, and with the makeup of the race, I'll look elsewhere,,, Wouldn't be surprised if he's backed into < 2/1 and pi55es it, but I'd rather go for something that has proven mile and a half form,,, All the same, I'd say Pillars is a good price @ 5/2 if ya fancy him...

Pablo Prince and Lenny's Spirit have similarish claims and profiles as the Pillars Of Earth, in that they were staying on over shorter lto.. not enough data to really consider these..

I think Pledge Of Peace under Hollie will fall short, based on previous, but is fairly priced @ ~8s.. Wadacre Gogo looks opposable too.. She often tries to make all but has fallen short at these sort of trips recently at Lingfield and Chelmsford.. place claims at best..

One who should be there or thereabouts, and is a favourable price is REECELTIC @ 11/2 with plenty o' books. He's lightly enough raced, is a C & D winner, and, being one who likes to mind his own business in mid-div, he should be well placed to make his challenge.. Will need luck in running, and he can have this by slotting in from the 9 box, as lots of these could well be bustled along early doors.. Has live claims on the formbook, looks like a 4/1 shot, and will probably run his race.. He'll do me here going win... Maybe each way if 6s or bigger can be got tomorrow..

LIBBRETTA, currently available to back at 16s is interesting.. A good 3rd lto over C & D.. I can see her going off a deal shorter, but, even if on a going day, looks to only have place claims here, and, while overpriced (imo 😋) , I just can't really warm to her as a punting proposition, given the uncertainty of how the race is going to pan out.. If she's not backed, and remains at 16s or so, she looks like one worth a place (3 or 4 - what/which-ever the bookie is laying odds on) only bet (imo 😆) , as, with very little chance (imo 😂) of winning, it seems a waste to go aitch weigh - as they say - on John Long's inmate..

That's my contribution to t' thread, and will be tomorrow or later before I have an opinion on owt else from the perspective of races forthcoming/..

    😊 Gluck folks

Value might be gone here, into 4s with PP I see, someone else must fancy him somewhat.

Bit late, but Isobel Moore might go well

    2.10 Lingfield

These two I like at fair prices.

    AYE CATCHER 9/2 PP ew

C & D winner.. Should be a lot of pace on (usually is over the minimum 😊) here, which will help her settle.

    MISS ANACO 17/2 gen ew

C & D winner from lto.. Up in grade but carrying less weight.. Good enough form for me in a low grade affair,, Price seems almost too big... hmm

PS Isobel Moore rubbish.. just happened to see her in race above, as I were looking at 2.10... Think someone on here fancied her lto..

    5.00 Tooreen Angel 5/1

    5.30 Ampeson 13/2

    7.00 Well suited 7/1

    7.30 Beleaguerment 3/1

I had backed Dusky Prince and Saliteh in that...surely we'll get a winner between us 🤪

Another one who's price will be gone nto...Dusky Prince, finished like a train but still behind the 2 market favourites

4 picks from 9 runners between the two of us - just one placer 😋 that's racing!

At least I was right about there being a lot of pace on 😁 Too much, unfortunately, as the eventual second ensured there was no hiding place for any caught behind/napping... ☹️

True enough about Dusky Prince.. little chance of getting even 3 or 4 to 1 nto, I'd say.. Probably be doing well to get 2/1 in a similar affair.

2.35 Huntington, Vienna Court, around 8/11. I've backed this to win and my best of the day.

3.20 Lingfield, pillars of earth, around 7/4. This won't win here I'm pretty sure. Confident lay bet.

3.50 Lingfield, enfranchise, around 5/4. Again, can't see it winning. Another confident lay bet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,065 ✭✭✭j@utis

Libbretta is out to 30/1 now in 3:20 Lingers. I have no time to look at the race, only got home.

Reeceltic the solid plodder he is managed to get closer to the lower (or should that be higher - it's confusing.. 1 is lower/lesser than 2 eg, yet as far as finishing 'higher' , 1 is probably higher than 2) places, the closer the winning line loomed.. 4th not much good at 4/1 though...

Don't recall hearing Libbretta mentioned. Not one for the scrapbook that 3.20..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,065 ✭✭✭j@utis

I'm annoyed that 3:50 lingers race is 7 runners, no bet on Classy Dame. I have a feeling that Fountain Cross will beat the hot fav.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,065 ✭✭✭j@utis

That didn't work out as I thought but whatever. I'm looking for juicer odds and fancy Rania 8/1 in 6:45 Wolves, PP is paying 4 places there of course. She was putting good efforts in prior the last run, she's off the same mark today when she was beaten here by a nose, -5lb jockey claim to make her life easier, had a small break and now can fire again, so yeah I'm on.

No bet, but will settle for an 'imaginary' € combination forecast in the next at Wolves (to include all bar the jolly).... fav is well bred, but is going up in trip 2+ furlongs.. Further to that; she's a filly, and they be temperamental 😃 Sort of punt i'd do if i was well up in funds, but, alas, i'm not.. not a clue what'll win it tho... a 'watching brief' for the 4.45 only.. will watch with interest anyway as an 'imaginary €30' at stake 😂

    6.45 Wolves

2 each way against the field here at tasty prices.. 4 places on offer at a fifth the odds with some books...

    STREET POET 25/1 PP/Boyles & WELL PREPARED 14/1 PP/Boyles

For 1 or 2 yoyos ew apiece... might fare better than throwing it doon a drain.. 😃

No joy with imaginary forecast in 4.45 😟

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,065 ✭✭✭j@utis

6:30 Dundalk Pocket Veto is now half price, money is pouring like she's a sure thing. I'd still like to back Guiliana if I could get her e/w odds.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,186 ✭✭✭standardg60

Not convinced by anything at the top of the market in the 6.15 so will be having a small bet on Capone. Always make a note of horses back from a break running in races at the ceiling of their handicap mark. Five pound drop since last flat run looks lenient

Robeam @ 12s looks good value here.. Likes it over C & D.. Only 2 places, but still... was a good run over a lil shorter at the course lto

Not liking Beggarman @ 6/4.. not sure what price he should be, but looks closer to a 3/1 shot to me, at least...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,186 ✭✭✭standardg60

    Absolutely robbed there

7:00 Dundalk No Patience 11/1, has won here before not once but twice off very similar mark too.

    Took 13/2 last night.

Capone ran a great race after such time off, will keep an eye.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,065 ✭✭✭j@utis

And for the better, only a remote 3rd. I looked at Craft Irish based on jockey's strike rate but nah, 66/1 no way.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,326 ✭✭✭munster87

    Morjhana ew here for interest

Wouldn't have had that inexplicable, if I had 5 ew picks in that race,,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,326 ✭✭✭munster87

Just missed the place back in 5th. That's me done, might have one for tomorrow later on 👍️

Did her e/w too, thought she was nailed on a furlong out.

Nice price on Socially Shady, yeah Capone got chopped off in the straight, defo worth keeping an eye on

No joy at my front today, -3pt.

    7.45 Wol

A very tricky 8 runner 5f affair for the last..

    2 picks

Q TWENTY BOY 3/1 PP win

May go close. no real value.. something has to be favourite, and I think the boy has better claims than Sir Hector, who's currently duelling with the pick Q Twenty Boy for position as market leader.

one at a massive price.. was a 100/1 placer in race just gone.. who knows?

LA CHICA LOBO 50/1 gen ew 66s with a few of the online books..

Is capable of running into a place here.. bottom weight, jockey takes off 7, drawn low in stall 2 will suit as tries to make all usually. Likely will have competition for t'lead, but today presents the best chance in a while for this one to run her race. Was placed @ 50/1 over C & D in October..

Was trying to make a case for Amazing Amaya, but wasn't convinced. You're Cool may have had better days. Nothing else was of interest,..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,186 ✭✭✭standardg60

Backed Full Intention here, and a reverse F/cast with the favourite

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,186 ✭✭✭standardg60

7.45 is wide open, taking a flyer with Qaaraat, Harry Russell gets on well with him.

No joy in that race,, The 10yr old You're Cool wins at 4/1, and another one I didn't give a chance to, Amazing Amaya, comes 2nd.. Just as well it was the last race.. a poor day's picking from me...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,186 ✭✭✭standardg60

    Roll on tomorrow

Out again tomorrow leffesem. I’ve had a bet but the price is poor

    Good spot Munster..

Wish I knew how to do a 'screengrab' , or whatever it's called... If I didn't quote my post also, me responding with just your quote would nae have made much sense .. 😃 well, it would, cos the post is above it, but anyhoo...

haven't looked at that race yet, but see he's ~ 11/8 (price quoted beside racecard.. not bothered to check oddschecker) ... . very short alright.. will have no interest in him at those odds, as even if he's good enough to win a race, will he handle the track and surface like he did elsewhere, ie lto at Lingfield? Don't want to put ya off, but I couldn't be having a bar of him at them skimpy odds.. quick look at second fav, Alaskan Jewel ~ 10/3, and that seems to me to be a better proposition...

hope your luck's in anyhow.. Am tempted to do a whole bunch at Lingfield myself in the NH sphere.. 😁😁 madness I tell thee!

I even picked them out last night.. going was supposedly 'soft' then - think it's currently described as heavy

We'll keep plodding on.. I've got an 'Ian Paisley' attitude when it comes to giving up: the smokes and punting - NEVER!
