Not a bad episode if a little predictable.

I enjoyed it but some of my family thought it was slow to start. Surprised at the ending

At every tense moment throughout I was waiting for the loud bang and puff of smoke. You knew it was coming somewhere, but predictably they left it to the end.

It spoiled the show a little for me.

If I ever go on a bombing spree, I'm going to do the following:-

    - Have the device activated by torch light.

    - Have the device going off a minute earlier than th count down clock indicates.

    - Have a Cadbury Creme Egg in close proximity.

I think Vicky McClure is slightly typecast, and could probably make a good job of running the London Met with her vast experience in all aspects of police and intelligence service work.

Finished tonight on ITV, it's ok, not a patch on Line Of Duty.

At the end it was announced it has been renewed for a 2nd series next year.

Trigger Point is one of the latest Tv Drama additions to the current Virgin One programme line-up.

This tense gripping action series appeals to anyone who loves a good cop series or action packed drama and it certainly delivers on that so far, with episode one getting off to an explosive start (literally!). It centres around an elite bomb disposal unit of the Metropolitan Police and comes to us from the same producers of the hit series Line of Duty and The Bodyguard. It stars Vicky McClure (Line of Duty) who plays Bomb Disposal Officer Lana Washington, one of the central characters.

The series which commenced on Virgin One last week and which was previously available to Virgin Media subscribers on its exclusive Channel 100 got off to a nail biting start, keeping us in suspense and on the edge of our seats. A spotlight is shone on the difficult specialist work involved in combatting terrorism and the challenges and dangers it presents. The series so far is edgy and gritty and is sure to keep us entertained. The series which features six episodes in total is also available as a box set on the Virgin Media Player.

Be sure to tune in tonight on Virgin One at 9pm it's definitely worth a watch!. The series is repeated on Virgin One Monday nights at 11pm and is also available to watch on the Virgin Media Player.

I watched it, decent show, your typical British crime police drama. Goes a little OTT in places and some of it doesn't make sense, but it's well done, good acting and keeps the suspense up until the end. 6.5/10
