I house share and it sucks. I'm not friends with them so I hate all the small talk. I try avoid them if I can. Means getting in and out of kitchen asap. a lot of eating **** in my room etc.

I went home to home house at the start of this all. Scrimpted and saved and accounted for every cent and 2 years later I'm only slightly better off than I was 2 years ago due to the never ending price increases and now the thought of having to go back to rent with randomers in dublin and pay out most of my wages as rent makes me sick.

I’m not a regular contributor here, and I rarely watch the late late show, however tonight after the historic speech by an Taoiseach I decided to stay with RTÉ 1 for the celebrations and the reactions to this famous announcement.

I won’t make that mistake again.

The thought of anyone actually putting effort and graft into their career absolutely blows Ryan's mind. You can tell its genuinely a foreign concept to him.

Fair play to her. Made organic progress up the ranks compared to others who get postings by name and reputation alone.

    FIFA, there's another beauty.

World Cup just coming up to Christmas, so odd that will be. Once they have killer dogs to attack anyone bringing a vuvuzela in to a ground it should be watchable.

    Good guest, so she is.

Have you ever encounted casual sexism, and are you tired as all hell of interviewers asking you about it?

I could probably afford to buy a 2 bed but it would mean using nearly all of my savings on the deposit. Like 30% of the house price and using 4 years of every single cent saved. Not sure it's worth it. hoping for a crash.

I would in a heartbeat, it's actually the only viable option realistically, I don't want to be sharing with randomers in my 30s and 40s which is the only option in dublin. Just have to see how feasible it would be if my workplace considers any type of work from home possibility going forward. Either that or emigrate I'd say. Mad how bad it is I'm on an alright wage like but just getting pushed out. Anways not going to stress about it on a Friday night!

Yeah she's very good. World of difference to the chelsea womens manager who's up her own arse and took offence at being linked to a league 1 job in the mens game.

    The segway of all segways.

Tubridy literally didn't take in a thing she was talking about her career in preparation for this,

    She's looking well for 44. I was thinking late 30s, maybe 38.

Just waiting her to stop talking so he can get to the difficult topics. Do the producers talking in his ear peice steer him towards the misery maybe? An editorial decision? Or is this persona really that depraved?

She's actually class. One of the best guests of the season I'd say. Fascinating.

Well, I'll tell you what, I'm gonna be doing any and all Christmas shopping in September. Decorations up in October. Whatever I need to do to free up as much time as possible in Nov & Dec.

There's no point kidding myself, I simply don't have the willpower to boycott it, even though it's a thundering disgrace.

The World Cup is my heroine. I'm powerless against it.

Not on the line, so Ryan you can’t say to him to perhaps give it to charity.

Further marks to him for using the pronouncing it "expresso" immediately after Tubridy referred to him as Italian. 😉

You have to watch it on RTE +1 for it to kinda make sense

Did I miss something in the interview with Lisa Fallon.

Tubridy didn't demonstrate his intricate knowledge of football by asking questions about Saipan and the Henry handball.

Then they spoke about a shocking attack that happened to her in 1995. Awful thing to happen but Tubridy was fairly vague with the questions. Did she go to the police or what? Not much info given about how the attack happened either.

Then he ends it with "there are going to be many more of these conversations". Second half of the LLS season sorted so!
