Flying lessons in the greater Dublin area; suggestions please.

Flying is absolutely wonderful. Alas had to give it up 4 years after I started when I was 19 in the 80s due to eye sight, but fitted in plenty of solo flight, having trained under the legendary Captain Darby Kennedy in Weston, where lessons can still be had. In fact in the decades since I had occasionally gone out there and flown a Cessna 172 start up to landing under supervision of a qualified instructor who is only too happy to let me handle the Tame aircraft.

I personally always go for the more expensive 172 on the rare occasion I do as a passenger or two can come along in the back, and it’s easier to land smoothly than it’s slightly more flighty but still tame little sister!
