COVID-19 Work Query

    Hi All,

    Hope you can help.

Both myself and my partner recieved positive antigen tests this Monday 10-Jan-22. I alerted my manager in work that morning that i had contracted the virus and that i wasnt feeling great. Btw i am WFH at present. I recieved messages from my manager to my personal phone on Tuesday 11-Jan-22 asking me had i completed a PCR test as HR was questioning my manager. I am below 40 and cannot get a PCR as the HSE states you need to be over 40.

I recieved another text message the next day 12-Jan-22 telling me i needed to get a sick note in order to return to work. I advised my manager that my GP would not be able to provide a sick note as i still have the virus and would not be able to see me physically. My Manager is still insisting that i get a sick note.

What are your thoughts on this? I have been feeling so bad all week and just think the messages to my personal phone are innapropriate.

    Thanks All!
