Enhanced Illness Benefit and Working From Home

    Quick one guys,

    I work from Home and tested positive last Wednesday. I was able to work Wednesday and Thursday however took a turn on Friday and am still off today and will likely be off tomorrow.

    Problem is the dates on my cert are from Wednesday to Tuesday (7 days isolation). Wondering how I can just get paid for the Friday and then the Monday and Tuesday ? Anyone else come across this yet?

    Interesting one 🤔, I think regardless of whether your working from home , they essentially award the payment based on the dates your advised to isolate or Incapacity to work cert states . You could if you submit the application and either emailing them or calling the illness benefit section.

    It's one of those "computer or systems' doesn't understand/recognise " situations
