Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

    So I'm 20 and looking to buy my first car. All things going well, I'll have my license by the end of the month.

    I won't be using the car that often, and will be putting less than 10k mileage on it annually.

    My budget is 15k to include tax, NCT, insurance. I would ideally be looking for 161 and above. I was looking at a Kia picanto or a polo but am open to consider anything really.

    Ik insurance is mad expensive. The problem is that I've only been on my parent's policy for 6 months last year, which has just been renewed. Will I be able to use their no claims bonus and take out a policy in my own name?

    Also when is the best time to buy a car and is it worth considering NI?
