Evening motorcycle mechanic course Dublin

Motorcycle mechanics evening classes – Larkin Community College Dublin 2

Hey all, ive been looking at this course for a while its been cancelled a few times with covid i see its backs on again just looking for some info

It seems to have three levels “Basics”, “Advanced” and “Project”.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend this course?

If anyone has done the course, could they tell me if they found it useful

Looking at how much they charge. If your into older bikes it would be worth doing just for the self maintanence end especially on Valve clearances which some wouldn't know anything about. Newer bikea have all sorts of electric gremlins to worry about too

If you plan on doing long trips then its definitely worth knowing how to fix a bike side of the road when something goes (provided you carry the spare part and its not a major part gone)

I'm learning a good bit of what they're talking about doing by rebuilding my own bikes, but I know little of the theory.
