I’m out of work from 24/12 to the 3/01 due to covid positive isolating for 10 days. When do I get this payment does anyone know. It didn’t say a date when I completed the application

Presuming you've submitted necessary proof of a request to self isolate (GP or Notification from HSE) with your application it could take upto 2 weeks as I believe there's quite a backlog. You don't state if you did application through mywelfare so it be worth checking status of application or call the illness section for an update.

Hopefully you'll get payment later , if not it could be mid next week if approved, as its a Bank Holiday weekend, payment dates differ etc.

I am having trouble applying for this on mywelfare.ie

I keep getting this message when trying to fill the form out...

"To date must be either 5 or 10 days after the from date"

Any ideas?

Had to self isolate/restrict movements from last Sunday evening to Friday and applied for this but never got a text or email from the HSE about them sending out Antigen Tests. The tests arrived at my door and the only thing i thought of doing was sending a pic of the tests as well as the package. Didn't hear anything from the SW and when I looked at my account it said 'awarded' but as of yet I have not received any money and now on my account its 'claim is closed'

Frustrated at this because there was 0 communication from the Social on it

I believe that when it says 'closed" it can mean you have been awarded it and a payment is due to you, at least that's what the lady on the phone told me last week when I enquired as to why my claim said "closed".

It doesn't matter what dates I put down, it still says it must be 5 or 10 days. I only want to claim 10

Do I use the "other illness" option if I isolated due to symptoms but got a negative PCR test in the end? I still had to isolate and missed 2 week's work ..
