Just wondering if anyone can help me out. My car is in for its NCT test next week but I can’t make the appointment. Can someone else, who is insured to drive the car, attend the appointment instead of me ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I've taken my daughter's car for NCT with no issues.

When myself and my dad shared the car, he was obviously the owner but I brought it to nct. Never had a problem. I always brought the paperwork with me too. Think asked for that once.

Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yes anyone else can bring it in. They need to bring some photo ID, a driving licence is best (they won't accept a passport for some GDPR reason) and the vehicle licencing cert(logbook).

You are supposed to bring the VRC as well afaik, although haven't been asked to produce it the last few times.
