Projector Sound System

Hi,

I'm looking for a recommendation for a sound setup for an Epson tw7100 projector in 4 x 4 meter meter room.

I'm using Chromecast with the projector and sometimes the dialog is very quite while the background noise or singing/songs is very loud on movies from Disney plus. We keep having to increase/decrease the volume depending on what scene is on. I'm hoping a sound system would fix this issue.

Budget is ~€700 but could be pushed for a big step up.

At the moment we would not have any 5.1 setup around the 700 Euro mark unfortunately.

Starting point currently for a 5.1 system would be 1099 Euro

There is a component shortage worldwide and it is have a knock on effect for production for pretty much all manufacturers.

You could perhaps check out some soundbars like the LG SL8YG coming in at 529 Euro

I should help.

Have you also tried to see if there are any audio setting within Disney+ as changing these may also help.

It could be down to the stream from Disney also. Does it only happen with Disney+ or is it with everything you watch/listen to?

It happens only with Disney plus and only with certain newer movies. There doesn't seem to be any audio settings within the app they I can play around with.

I'll research it a bit more and come back to you about the soundbar.

I have both a home cinema setup and also a Sonos Beam at home.

I have no issues with either of these setups and Disney+.

I use the Sonos beam in my living room and the 5.1 setup in a different room and watch a good bit of Disney+ for Starwars etc....
