edit: I forgot this is a specific BoI forum. According to their webpage you can just walk in to a branch, no appointment required, register online, or call them. Details: https://personalbanking.bankofireland.com/bank/current-accounts/personal-current-account/how-to-apply/

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Hi there, thanks for your post here on Boards.ie.

You certainly can apply for an account online via the Bank of Ireland website. I have provided a link below to more information in relation to our Current Accounts and to where you can apply online, I hope it helps.

Alternatively if you would prefer to call into your local branch you can certainly do so at any time during branch opening hours as this is a walk- in service. You will need to bring photo ID and a proof of address. One of my colleagues would be more than happy to help.

I've provided a link below to opening hours during the Christmas period, I hope it helps.
