Meh. They're picked by county associations closely linked to AOH dinosaurs in the States, a good dollop of wholesome GAA family involvement everywhere of course which are all conservative by their very nature, this is only lip service and free advertising.

They can't lose because outwardly they'll look good and "woke" but know an outsider will likely never get as far as the finals anyway. The numbers of trans people in any population are microscopic so the numbers alone make it unlikely.
