Sonos beam gen2 vs playbase

Hi, I’m interested in either the Sonos beam gen2 or the playbase. Which would you recommend? Would I be right in saying the playbase is an older model, I see it connects to the tv by optical compared to earc hdmi on the beam. Final question, are they available to order? Thanks

The Playbase is an older product that is now discontinued.

We do still have one left in the white finish though priced at 549 Euro

The Beam Gen 2 is the most up to date product but is currently out of stock with no current ETA for more to arrive. I would say at this point it will be the new year before we see more arriving in the Black finish.

We do have the white versions in stock priced at 479 Euro delivered.

Seems they are out of stock everywhere.

Yeah stock is our everywhere as we all await Sonos to produce more.

The Sonos website indicates January before they have more.
