Is it still possible to buy disposable debit cards for cash?

I remember years ago it was possible to buy disposable debit cards in newsagents for cash like 3V that could be used immediately. Is it still possible to buy cards like this and if so what is the name of the company?

You can't use them for any significant spend without registration to yourself since the most recent anti money laundering rules came in, this has made them less popular as the limit is quite low (50 maybe?)

It seems this one at least only requires SMS registration to unlock cash topups up to 2.5K? They do mention a passport scan unlocks up to 125K.

I remember in the 3V days, you'd go into a payzone agent listed on the website, ask for a 3v voucher but the person working in the shop wouldn't have a clue about it. The same thing happens now with other payzone products like prepay power.

There is a difference between restricted use anonymous cards like the One4All, gift cards or even the restricted paysafe card which cannot be used online for more than 50€ and the universal use once on mastercards/visa networks like swirlcard or paysafe mastercard.

You are paying heavy for loading in cash and then also for usage.

Plus, if they think there is something suspicious going on, they are required to ask you for a full identification beyond just mobile number/name.

Don't go down that route because in the end you pay heavy.
