Bathroom Extractor Fan.

    I want to replace the electric extractor fan in my bathroom which is located overhead the shower unit. It is old - about twenty years - has become noisy and no longer extracts steam and vapour efficiently. Would I require an electrician to wire up a new one or can this be DIY safely?
