Omicron has HIV in it. That's why the governments are so scared.

Just reading an article here that says the new variant, omicron has common cold virus in it:

Omicron variant may have picked up a piece of common-cold virus (breakingnews.ie)

But is also mentions that this section is found in HIV. What if the new batch of people infected with omicron go on to develop an AIDS like illness?

Is this why China is so keen on maintaining Covid-zero? They know this possibility.

I'm not sure what the conspiracy is here, but indeed Omicron has a lot of mutations to it. One theory is that it could have gone back into the animal reservoir, then been retransmitted to humans, or indeed could have circulated into someone (or a group) with HIV.

Anyway the anti-vaccination types who have nothing but contempt for vaccines, masks, rules, etc seem determined to go out of their way to get this "little flu", so there'll be no end of unvaccinated people to test out how serious any new mutations, like Omicron, are.

yep it has the same sequence that HIV has, but suggesting it could go on to cause a HIV illness is pretty much as daft as that Hugh O'Neill eejit recently claiming that because this sequence is also present in some coronaviruses that cause the common cold Omricon will become more like the common cold. The sequence involved concerns itself with making it easier for the virus to latch onto human cells and bugger all else. If you inserted it into the smallpox virus it wouldn't lessen its nastiness, just make it possibly more infectious. If you inserted it into another common cold virus it wouldn't make it any worse, just possibly make it more infectious.

Or put it another way; if you get a common cold do you worry that you may end up with a HIV like illness? Of course you don't, because you won't.

Covid 19 virus with the ability to be incorporated into cellular DNA like HIV. Nightmare scenario but instead of getting AIDS YOU GET a cold every few months. Oh wait?
