Counting exits at roundabouts

when approaching a roundabout and for example your told 3rd exit do you include every turn off or just the exits-do you not include in your calculations cars joining roundabt on a single lane cheers

The third exit is literally the 3rd exit you can exit. Don't over think it :-)

thanks just exits so places where other cars are joining arent included in calculations
