    3.24kw €3200 after grant. SAAS

Will be worth adding in of you paid upfront or went with SAAS. Will give a good picture of the amount of business he got from here.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

7.6kwp installed in different phases over the last 3-4 years, mostly DIY with a roofer installing the 5 panels on my high roof and an electrician hooking up the inverters

Job just completed yesterday, so the app watching and tweaking begins.

8.16kwp installed (24 panels), 5kw Puredrive battery, Solis 6KW hybrid, SSW facing. €8.2k after grant so can't complain, don't think I could get that price again.

Zappi, Eddi, Hub & Harvi I had already installed.

Said I could get another 18 panels 😁 Could be powering the neighbours.

Can certainly recommend the crowd from Enniskillen for the job, wouldn't know they had been here half the time. Arrived 9am first day, leaving about 4pm when getting dark and had finished yesterday by lunchtime, had left Enniskillen at about 6am to get to me.

    Will update spreadsheet with details.

That.....is an awesome job! (Great price too - one of the better ones, if not the best I've seen)

You'll have the bitcoin mining starting soon! :-)

Thanks bullit_dodger, yip happy out with it for sure.

Looking at recent quotes I did luck out alright.

Great prices for sure...i paid similar for 6.1 kw (18 panels) . Mind you I needed 8 optimizers and roof was much higher as a dormer and 2 separate roof elevations. The puredrive batter looks really neat!

6.84kwp due to be installed next week so will update the doc once complete.

Going to ease the panels into production this time of year 😜

Would it be an idea to have columns for pre and post-install BER ratings, so people could see how their BER might improve? Would probably need house size too to compare...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,596 ✭✭✭bullit_dodger

As the person who created the spreadsheet, no objection here. Although as you say I wonder about the usefulness. For example, if I list I went from C3->B2 but I did a whole host of things like putting a lagging jacket on the immersion, etc......it might not be so obvious to the reader as to what the effect of Solar was. But feel free to modify if you can come up with a good format.

There's a formula to show the BER improvement, much easier just to use that as it's specific to PV install

I think it's kWp X 1.47 / M2 of house, I could be wrong on that though so open to correction

Would be interesting too to see what people had been quoted before coming here and getting good advice.

Calculate the savings that this forum has provided.

It's a bit more involved that that as it takes into account the slope and the azimuth of the panels... The formula provided above is for panels facing due south at 30° if I remember correctly.
