Buying from Amazon UK/DE

Has anyone ever bought Apple products from Amazon? The iPad Pro is reduced by about €40-50 on Amazon DE and UK (after the cost of shipping is added).

Is it safer to buy it direct from Apple or are Amazon fine for big electronics?

Amazon.de is fine for that kinda thing, Ive bought a few big cost items from it before and the only thing is you will get a european style plug but with these quickly disappearing it shouldnt be a problem. I have an apple watch on the way from amazon.de at the moment.

Thanks! I’ve got tons of plugs around the place so wouldn’t mind not getting a new one. I was concerned about returns if there’s any issues but I think I’ll just go for it

Apple have never refused to repair anything I sent back to them, even some items I purchased in the US. I know they can be a little fussy at times but if you talk nicely to them, they will generally help you out.

I have returned items to Amazon.de too and while the postage was little expensive, it was the same procedure as .co.uk

Thanks a mil! The main thing I was worried about was repairs if anything went wrong. I went with .de because it's still in the EU so it should be covered by EU laws. It's just a waiting game now for it to arrive!

Bought a macbook Pro last August from amazon.de. Hairline crack and the screen went black. Rang amazon and they said contact Apple. Rang Apple and they said bring it into repair centre in dublin. They then refused to fix it as it was bought in germany. I rang Amazon and they said ship it back and they would refund me.
