Isolation switches

Hi lads,

having a kitchen installed and have to have isolation switches for my hob & oven. Where can/cant an isolation switch go? Anyone have a copy of the guidelines that they could share? Thanks in advance

@meercat can they be within 2m and accessible in a larder press?

I could be wrong but afaik they cannot be inside a press. Kinda defeats the purpose don't you think?

Yes they can,once they are within easy reach(not behind box’s,tins etc)and between 400mm-1200mm height

@meercat Thanks I found the thread but the photo is missing, probably since the awful boards update😄. The larder press would fall within the 400-1200mm height. All that is in going to be in the press is a coffee machine so there with still be easy reach to the switch

Make sure the isolators aren’t on the hinged side of the press door and towards the front. Then there’s no issue with accessibility
