One Joanne Germanotta features tomorrow evening, and RTE can't stop puffing out their little chests about it. They have devoted well over half the preview blurb to her this week. She also goes by "Lady Gaga", from time to time. Hobbidy will manage to work a bit of misery in too, by the sound of things. I'm shocked!

"Actress and pop star Lady Gaga will join Ryan Tubridy from London to chat about her new movie House of Gucci on Friday night's Late Late Show.

Gaga plays the lead role of Patrizia Reggiani in the new Ridley Scott movie about the Italian fashion dynasty and she says she took the part so seriously that she lived as her character for a year and a half during filming both on and off-camera.

Ryan will also talk to the Oscar-winner about her experience with bullying and her friendship with fellow musician Tony Bennett."

I warn ye in advance, Ronan Cheating is on, and he's going to "sing." I hope Lady Gaga doesn't hear him when she's on the zoom call, or she might fall madly in love with him. (Pictured below is the little fella himself, with neither of his wives.)

"Boyzone’s Ronan Keating will be on Friday's Late Late Show to chat about his new album Songs from Home and why coming back to Ireland after lockdown was an emotional experience. He will also be joined by his wife Storm for a special performance."

Another former President on the grift, this time, this particular Mary has a TV show to flog.

"Former President Mary McAleese will discuss her new documentary With God on Our Side and why she believes a united Ireland is coming."

The Dream Team (minus the late, and missed Bill) are going to talk balls for a while. Of course Hobbidy thinks Dalymount Park is somewhere the Norries go to feed the ducks.

"As Ireland’s World Cup qualifying campaign draws to a close this weekend, Ryan will be joined by soccer analysts Eamon Dunphy and Liam Brady as they give their verdict on Stephen Kenny’s tenure so far and they will also discuss their memories of Dalymount Park as the ground is set to close next year for redevelopment."

Some interesting historical titbits beckon, with a presentation of some exhibits from the National Archives.

"100 years after the signing of The Anglo-Irish Treaty, Orlaith McBride brings a treasure trove of priceless items from The National Archives into The Late Late studio."

    Music is by Glen Hansard.

All in all, this is actually a pretty strong line-up! Fingers crossed.
