HKC - Beam Problem

I got new wireless alarm fitted couple of weeks ago. No problems whatsoever until yesterday.

Basically I went out and did the full set. Came home to the alarm going off, the whole area had a power cut!

When the power was restored on the app on my phone said power cut at 7.10 and then sitting room beam alarm at 7.20

I thought it was because of the power cut that's why the alarm was going off, I reached out to installers and they said no its spiders.

Tonight I got the hoover out and hoover the ceilings, I went out and low and behold 15mins later beam went off !

However I set the alarm this morning full set and went to work and no problems until this evening.

Any one experiencing something like this? Should I just do a night set all the time would that be enough?

If its only installed a few weeks get the installation company back to check it out. It's still under warranty. Going at it yourself could void this.

However your system should operate normally during a power cut with just an alert showing mains fault. A power cut should not affect a wireless PiR either.

Sounds like an issue with the Beam, it can happen.

Id advise getting the company to replace the Device as it may be faulty.
