Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do Ventilation systems run constantly in all new houses?

moved in a few weeks ago and the noise is driving me mad- but nobody else seems to hear it.

Hopefully I can get used to it

Generally yes the ventilation should be running throughout the heating season.... but you shouldn't hear it except when maybe it's on boost (if it has a boost function)

It depends on the system. Some don't. Other systems will run at a speed that depends on humidity in the house. If you can figure out the type you have, some experts may be able to advise on ways to reduce the noise. Are the valves on the walls or the ceiling?
