Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

"Berlin, summer of 1946, the city's in chaos - there are no laws, and everyone is either a criminal or a survivor. When American (my edit :NYPD) cop Max McLaughlin (Taylor Kitsch, arrives to help create a police force and take down the Al Capone of Berlin, Dr Werner 'Englemacher' Gladow, he is also on a private mission to track down his missing brother, who's"............well you can find out for yourself. Max took this job as an excuse to find his brother who went AWOL from the army.

Max is assigned to a fledgling police station staffed with civillians of all ages. No uniforms, no weapons, I assume they volunteered to try and keep some order.

Excellent casting. Like other European shows, they cast people who look real, rather than stereotypical beauties. Excellent acting . Great story; part cop show, part espionage intrigue between the different allied powers controlling Berlin, part serial killer hunt, part hunt for the crime boss overlord taking advantage of the chaos. And a Jewish underground looking for revenge.

From today's geopolitical perspective, it's amusing how they portray the Russians.

The vast majority of the show is in English language.
