What other types of Animals can Ireland rear?

Ruminants are out the window? What else can you rear on farmland?

Reptiles are out of the question as it is too cold so it must be warm blooded.

Horse? Free range swine? Ostrich? Dog?

The fencing companies will be the business to be in if Horse and Ostrich find a market.

I visited zoos where Wild Swine were kept. They do dig up ground were effectively.

There's red necked wallabies on Lambay Island. Yaks, llamas and emus didn't survive on their own

Not sure if you can get hedage or decent milk from them. Kangeroo shoes are a thing but wallabies have smaller feet.

Geese and gelada baboons (Ethiopia) mostly eat grass.

Reptiles are out of the question as it is too cold - If you were in Norn Iron you could keep them in heated barns and feed them silage or whatnot. Eggs but no milk.

Geese could be an option. Their diet is mainly grass. You can only keep the reproduction birds over winter.

if you are adventurous and have unused sheds, you can try worms. They recycle waste (manure and organic waste), produce worm castings which are expensive and sell the worm as feeds (pellets) for animal consumption (mainly birds but pigs would love it and maybe soon, humans). You just need to make sure they don’t freeze during winter but a closed shed should do. Marketing should be easy on this one.
