Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Are we doing a winter contest this year in picking your Minimum Temperature, Place, and Date for the period?

    Normally I would start one in late November and put an early December deadline on it. Think that it didn't happen last winter, just like last winter itself I suppose you could say.

    If you feel like organizing such a contest, please go ahead, I have lots to do and it would suit me to hand it off. If it's up and running by the end of November I will post a link to it in the contest thread (in past winters most but not all entries have come from regular contest entrants).
