Short Term Savings Question

I have a bit of money to squirrel away - 40k I may need access to it in the short term so a 30 day notice is all I require I have checked bonkers.ie and the main banks and the interest rates are beyond tripe AIB - 0.0% AER BOI - 0.03% AER Any advice or secrets I don't know about please?

Rates are so low at the moment it is sadly no longer worth shopping around for the best deposit rates to any massive extent.
Move the money out of your current account (best to segregate savings) and get an instant access account (notice accounts pay rubbish too).
You could also consider investments if you have adequate savings and if you don't intend to spend the money short-term.
