Can any help me with this please. My connect will unlock all its doors bar the side sliding door. It's a 2016 model. It's like the dead lock won't release. Has anyone any experience of this and how to open it.

All other doors are opening. I've spoke to ford and the only solution they have is book it in for a inspection. May have to yet.

    Thanks very much.

Try pushing the front of the door in while unlocking it. It might be the contact pins on the front pillar isn't making proper connection.

    Thanks dirty nails.

I've tried that. I'm starting to think the lock is dead but I can unlock it. I rang Ford thinking it might have a secret button inside the panel but no use.

Little information from your car user manual.

When you press the unlock button

either all the doors are unlocked or only the

driver door is unlocked. Pressing the unlock

button again unlocks all the doors.

Press and hold the unlock and lock buttons

on the remote control simultaneously for

at least four seconds with the ignition off.

The direction indicators will flash twice to

    confirm the change.

    Your vehicle support double locking

    Double Locking

    WARNING

Do not use double locking when

passengers or animals are inside your

vehicle. You will not be able to

unlock the doors from the inside if you have

    double locked them.

Double locking is a theft protection feature

that prevents someone from opening the

    doors from the inside.

Note: If you double lock your vehicle while

inside, switch the ignition on to return the

door locks to a single locked state.

    Double Locking with the Key

Turn the key to the lock position twice

    within three seconds.

I can read more but you can easily to do the same. There is tons of information
