I need a good overhead light(s) for my workbench. Any recommendations for something relatively cheap and online without import taxes etc,, and that I can wire with a plug (to socket)??

I have an anglepoise light mounted to my workbench, I find it ideal for task lighting as it's fully adjustable in terms of direction etc. The cheap lamp I bought came with cumbersome base but I have an old clamp style fitting as used on draughting tables.

Not sure it will fit your definition of "relatively cheap" but I have a couple of dimmable FLOALT (404.363.16, €129 each) panels and a TRÅDFRI remote control (304.431.24, €13) from IKEA.

Together at max brightness they produce around 650 lux at 2m distance, according to my uncalibrated Light Meter smartphone app
