Hi all just wondering what peoples thoughts & experiences are of both.

I would like to go for Bosch however their energy ratings are all C

On the other hand the Samsung eco bubble machines are A rated or B

Wondering is there a big saving / difference on the new A and C ratings? I generally would do 2-3 loads per week ( 8-9kg sought)

I'm not that familiar with Samsung home appliances quality.

Id be grateful for any thoughts

Is that an A rating for the new EU 2021 labelling specs or the older rating system.

A lot of previous products that were A, A+, A++ have been moved to C and D on the new rating system.

    Hi thanks for the reply.

Its A and C on the new ratings A to G. I should've clarified that

I've recently been a bosch buyer, although some of those samsung models get excellent reviews from which magazine.

What models are you looking at?

You can find the expected energy consumption of the model you are looking at by finding the energy rating sheet it gives you the expected kwh usage using 40 degree and 60 degree cotton washes over 100 washes. It's not the whole story but probably a good indicator. Which magazine dont always agree with the ratings using real world tests.

C is a good rating, obviously A is awesome, but the way you use your machine is even more important.

Make sure you fill it. Wash at a lower temperature, 20 degrees is ok for lightly used stuff with liquid detergent, 30 degrees for normal wear, 40-60 degrees for stained/soiled stuff. You'll save 30-60% electricity by using the 30-20 temps.

Also models with a good spin cycle save on tumble dryer costs (which is a killer) if life doesn't let you put it out on the line.

Thanks Eeepaulo for your info and tips.

In the end I went with Bosch for washing machine and dryer.

Easier to go with the same brand for both and Bosch with a proven track record
