Forgot about this and tight for time now so picking Cardinals tonight and will get back with the rest

Real chess match in the first quarter with a lucky throw going 55 yards to Hopkins which set up the Cards to score a TD. 7-0 now and the Packers around the ten looking to level things up.

Defense has been on top. Rodgers has only thrown one completion to a wide receiver and one to a tight end, two to Aaron Jones. He has forty passing yards to this point.

As I type Aaron Jones rushes for the TD to tie it up at 7-7.

    Was that really a touchdown?

  • Registered Users Posts: 37,512 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

The Packers completely dominated time of possession in the first half, 21 mins 19 to 8 mins 41, but only have a three point lead at halftime. They might pay for that.

Murray throws a pick deep in the red zone to hand the Packers the win.

    That'll hurt your MVP chances.

    24-21 Packers.

What the absolute **** was green doing on that play? Was so impressed with the cards on that drive, absolutely shat the bed on that play. Hopefully that hurts his soul tonight because they'll be playing again in the new year.

Great result down 7 starters. This team is gritty. Sort out our redzone offence and get some players back we should be in contention

    69 - 38 coming in:

    Packers @ Cardinals

    Eagles @ Lions

    Dolphins @ Bills

    Bengals @ Jets

    49ers @ Bears

    Panthers @ Falcons

    Steelers @ Browns

    Rams @ Texans

    Titans @ Colts

    Jaguars @ Seahawks

    Patriots @ Chargers

    Washington @ Broncos

    Buccaneers @ Saints

    Cowboys @ Vikings

    Giants @ Chiefs

Weird that a home game against the lowly Giants would carry so much weight for the Chiefs but it really does this week. Giants have been improving too so this won't be a cakewalk. Still keeping the faith in Mahomes though.

Looking forward to Bucs Saints too as it's the first real test for the Bucs since the Rams, (Patriots game not withstanding). Speaking of the Pats, on the road to the Chargers is a fairly huge step up from the Jets last week, I'm sure they'll be feeling themselves though and will want to back it up.

Otherwise there's not alot to look forward to in there. Hoping the Jags can back up their first win of the season and at least put in a good performance in Seattle. Feel sorry for the Dolphins having to face that Bills side coming off a loss and abye week, they'll be foaming at the mouth.

Matt LaFleur putting himself in COTY conversation. Insane result considering the amount of starters that were out.

Conversely to that, all the Cards had to do was stop the run and get a few scores. Very bad loss for them. Another banana-skin game for them next week at the 9ers on the horizon but a nice long break.

5 teams now in the NFC with only 1 loss, and hard to see that changing this weekend.

Just on that. I couldn't understand why Dillon wasn't in on goal line plays. Every time they had a 3 or less yard down he got the ball and got the first down. Then they get deep in the red zone and it's Jones.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,004 ✭✭✭cosatron

Agree it was mad. Rodgers said they loaded the box and switched out of the run play. Luckily for Rodgers it worked out in the end

    68 -39 coming in

Packers @ Cardinals (already picked but I am hardly going to lie about picking the losing team)

    Eagles @ Lions

    Dolphins @ Bills

    Bengals @ Jets

    49ers @ Bears

    Panthers @ Falcons

    Steelers @ Browns

    Rams @ Texans

    Titans @ Colts

    Jaguars @ Seahawks

    Patriots @ Chargers

    Washington @ Broncos

    Buccaneers @ Saints

    Cowboys @ Vikings

    Giants @ Chiefs

could be a good few more close games this week. Jags vs Seahawks with Russ still out is interesting, Lawrence is starting to get the hang of it a lot more the last few weeks. Patriots defense could keep the match vs the Chargers interesting but Herbert should have too much, especially at home. Good few other close games in there even if there are only a few play off implications from the close games.

Stafford and Kupp is probably the best QB/WR duo in the league right now. Incredible stuff from them tonight again.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,440 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

17-0 eagles at the half against the lions who are just an all around bad football team.

  • Registered Users Posts: 22,249 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

The Rams making light work of this at the minute.

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,171 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

I've no idea where the win is going to come from for them now that they've lost this one.

Bears or Broncos are the only games left I think they potentially have a shot. Throw the Browns in there as they might have a Browns moment.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,440 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

    24-0 eagles third quarter.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,440 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

TD eagles 31-0 with time left in the third quarter. It’ll be nice to watch at least one game from the eagles where I’m not getting a headache.

Another TD eagles off a Detroit fumble.
