I have an old Guinness bottle, on the label it says "bottled by 333". Who or what was 333. You usually see the publicans name

Bottling was taken away from individual pubs in the 1960s and confined to distributors. Small, local distributors were able to bottle in low volumes but gradually, it became confined to the big boys like Savage Smith, D.E. William's in Tullamore and Power's in Waterford. Later still, bottling was taken completely in-house and, before they exhausted the supply of the old labels, IIRC the 'Bottled By' section of the label showed '111' for St. James Gate.

I never saw a '333' label, I wonder was it bottled in the old Park Royal brewery in London?
