I'm scared I'm too old for Coppers now. I'm scared COVID has deprived me of the last furlong of my youth. I'm scared I'll know have to be the young guy who scoops up the mature puss at over-40s nightclubs.

I saw a video of people in the queue for Coppers and not one of them looked in their 30s. Not a one.

I'm scared that when I go back, I'll be all self conscious and nervous that everyone is looking at me, judging me as a nonce if I dance within three feet of a 25-year-old woman. I used to get rejected by 25-year-old women in Coppers for being fat and sweaty and smelling like Marlboros and jagerbombs, but now it'll be that AND my age.

And honestly I feel quite sad about it.

... count your blessings. While age may one of those, sweat and Marlboros are probably equally disliked whatever the generation so maybe things won't change that much.

Last month I suggested that foreign students should utilise the upstairs of a bus rather than overcrowd the downstairs and I think Emmet might think I'm a nazi or something because of it.

Dont go to coppers ,if you are over 25, use dating apps, go to pubs .is there a nightclub for people over 30 ? see latest newstalk podcast ,i,m an adult, its all about getting old, is 40 too old to be settled down etc

theres loads of beautiful smart women over 30, theres ways to meet people, coppers is not for any man over 30 .the advantage if getting older,is hopefully you get wiser and more experienced and dont keep on doing stupid things.

not every woman just wants to go out with a 20 year old man. i thnk coppers is the only nightclub i ever hear mentioned in forums.

maybe a nightclub designed for over 30s would be very popular, as they have loads of money to spend

i see no problem with a 30 year old going out with a 40 year old woman if she finds you attractive ,if you go out and and smart funny or attractive you,ll meet a good woman , dating is tough for most people even when you are young and attractive .

Ive never been in a nightclub except as part of my job and that was during daylight.

I don't feel like I've missed anything.

I've been in the private rooms of the Wright venue in the months after it opened. Fluffy furniture, poles and handcuffs. I don't think I missed out on anything.

Those disgusting sex obsessed bogger deviants queueing up like Russians for a bit of hole or schlong greatly disgusts me. In fact the greasy stench of bogger in Dublin offends me very much. These country folk need to stay on their farms and tend their animals/chickens
