Travellers, dumping.

We’re doing home reno, and have bought a big skip, which sits on our property. This family of disgusting travellers have been dumping their **** on our skip. It’s utterly annoying and proper disrespectful. Skips aren’t cheap, and it’s filled with all their stuff. I’ve footage of them dumping it, would it be sufficient to complain to the gardai?

Gardaí won't touch this situation with a barge pole.

They'll tell you it's a civil matter.

Especially if it's travellers they won't get involved. They'd need the ARU to approach them unfortunately.

You could just take the stuff and dump it back on their property.

Unfortunate situation but I wouldn't be dumping it back onto their "property". The last people I want having an issue with me is a bunch of travellers.

Legally you'll get no where and if you complain your house will be burnt out or you'll be hospitalised.

If they are not from the nicer segment of the traveller community it could be worse.
