    Hi All,

Does anyone know the best security cameras for a detached home? Are 4 in each corner enough?

How do you plan to cover the majority of the area without going mad? Any recommendations on installers?

    Thanks

Its very hard to cover every area with cameras unless you want to go mad.

Main routes, height of camera, field of view of camera in location.

Hik Vision External bullet fixed CCTV cameras I would highly recommend. Day/Night with LED built in.

Well you want your front garden driveway and front door covered and your back garden and rear door. So 4 cameras should suffice with a Network video recorder 4 port 1 x TB DVR.

CAT -6 Cable - Go for 100 metres + connections.

Monitor 21 to 26 inch for viewing CCTV.

Thanks, guys, Is there software or some way to design the best locations? Have 2 side garden gates so is it recommended to add cameras there too?
