Firestick - Kodi - PC access - TV powered

    Has anyone done this before?

    My TV has a 5v/1amp usb slot - so from what I can find this is enough to power the device, same specs as the power supply itself


    Installing Kodi on the firestick is it easy enough to access files on the PC either thru the router (VM) or via wifi - watched some youtube vids and while it seems possible is it flawless?


    Using a Harmony remote - do all key functions work correctly, e.g. the Fire remote has no function for record


    Can I access the stick from my PC to setup - would be handy


    Any other issues people have come across setting it up would be appreciated
