Mortgage Drawdown and sick leave

Hi everyone, I am currently on sale agreed on a property and I have just broken my leg (at work). As I am a creche worker, I will have to stay at home for a few weeks. I already have the AIP, of course, but I have heard that due to covid banks are requesting payslips right before drawdown. I suppose I may have no payslips for a few weeks as I cannot work right now. Will this prevent me from being able to get the drawdown?

I have read some people on maternity leave saying that a letter from the employer confirming they are still on the same position and the date they will be back is enough. Would the same be true for sick leave due to a broken leg?

    Thanks
