    Good afternoon folks,

I am looking for some advise for Disney Paris . I am heading away with my 7 year old girl. I haven't booked any meals and we are staying at the Cheyenne Hotel.

Can anyone comment on the half board or just breakfast option and throw in McDonalds etc . Seems a mad price for a 7 year old won't ea a whole lot .

    What are they charging you?

Couple of years ago took the grandkids and stayed at Cheyenne- the breakfast option was grand and they happily filled up. Booked a dinner one night and although it was "all you can eat" the reality was it was very expensive as they didn't eat much, not nearly enough to justify the cost. It also wasn't very nice tbh.

Breakfast is working out at 35 a day for me and a 7 year old who will have a bowl of cereal. I just dont know what my other options are

There is a Starbucks in that property. You will be able to get her a croissant and an orange juice or whatever + whatever you want.

Plenty of places in Disney Village to eat cheapish. There's also a Relay shop in the train station which IIRC sells all sorts of food. Could also buy or bring the single serving cereals and get some UHT milk or ask for a glass full. Individually wrapped croissants, brioche rolls work for breakfast or snacks through the day. Buy drinks before going to the park even if it's only water. McD prices are roughly on a par with here. Earl of Sandwich is good IMO, Starbucks as above, Sports Bar is reasonably priced and in the village. Five Guys on site and Annettes Diner if you want to slash out any day. Breakfast at Annettes is fab

Planning a trip to DLP ourselves as part of a longer trip to France next summer. It'll be myself, my wife, and an eight-year-old boy. Will most likely even be staying at Cheyenne too.

To be honest, bit overwhelmed by all that's involved in researching it, but would have thought we'd go for the half board option ourselves. Is it really a realistic alternative option to rely on Disney Village for food? e.g. is it feasible to leave the Parks themselves at some stage of the day to eat there, and then return to the Park afterwards? And if so, roughly how long is the walk between them?

Absolutely, the walk between the Main Street USA part of the park and the Disney Village is probably under 15 minutes.

We stayed in the Chayenne for 3 nights a few years back and didn't bother with any of the meal plans, they're just pretty poor value tbh. The one I would recommend is looking at booking the character breakfast for one of the mornings. It's expensive but your kids will get to meet loads of the Disney characters and get photos / autographs etc.

Enjoy it. And if you don't mind, let us know how you get on?

Our planned trip is still about nine months away, but am sure we'll need to eat when we get there too. 😁

Hi all. Am dragging this one up again because we're on the verge of booking for a few days in July.

Advice on whether to go for Meal Plan or not? We're talking two adults and one child, so price for Half Board Plus works out at €158 per day.

We went for 3 nights/4days from 29th December. The parks were as busy if not busier than any other time we've been there.

Despite being encouraged to do meal plans or prebook restaurants we didn't bother. That said, €158 per day for three isn't too bad.

We were self catering so did our own breakfast & brought our own lunch most days. Lunch will run to €10-15 and dinner €20-35.

We did McDonalds (Village) & Lucky Nugget (Park) for dinner and queues weren't too bad. Annettes in the Village had mental queues so we skipped it this time but usually enjoy the breakfast there on our last day.

Menus are available for most of the restauants on the DLP website if that helps.
