    Hi all

forgive my ignorance but a newbie here

With winter coming I'm hoping to get turbo trainer set up again in garage. Is there special tyres that won't wear as fast as normal tyres and any idea where to get them, preferably Irish company

    Thanks

Turbo trainer tyres are fairly widely available. Doesn't wear as fast and is a bit quieter but never make the mistake of forgetting to swap out for another tyre before going out for a spin on the road!

    Example below -

When people talk about not wearing as quick are we talking about slow wear or will it quickly wreck a road tyre ?

Bear in mind if you have a TT tyre you'll have to take your normal/road tyre off & put the TT tyre on vice versa each time you want road cycle or TT. A pain in the arse if you ask me.

best bet if you can is have a wheel with tyre etc and just change over when required much less hassel .
