New development in Roselawn?

Guys has anyone any information on the houses that are being buit just behind roselawn road? There seems to be construction work going on for the past fw months. Any info at all would be great

There are six or seven detached houses going in there. I saw an ad in the window of Flynn auctioneers a few months ago, sort of a 'call us for more info' but no public sale and no details on price so I assume they're a) v expensive and b) probably all gone...

I think this is one of them. Not 100% sure but "Crannach" is definitely the name of the cul de sac

You would struggle to find many houses in Dublin built in the second boom that don't have a bland exterior tbh. Horrible looking yokes for the most part.

Thanks.I like modern houses I'll be interested to see the finished house.

But I think it's bizarre they got planning permission exactly where the greenway should go.

If you to go Castleknock train station you can see them from across the canal.

It would have been very hard to put the greenway on the north bank there because most of the residents along Roselawn Road have extended their gardens to the canal banks.

Compulsory purchase. Would be far easier and cheaper than the over engineered and over reaching approach they took.

That patch of land had been zoned for housing for years. Even with the new houses built, there is still ample room for a greenway along the canal. As noted above, it was the gardens further west that are the issue.
