Hi

Other than the audioquest do you have any other sub cable that is 5m?

I see you have a few 7m and 3m which are either too long or too short for me.

I am going to put in an order for the rel t7i and was wondering do you know how long the power cable is? Again I need around 5m thanks.

We have the Audioquest Black Lab 5m priced at 53 Euro

The power lead supplied with the Rel T7i is 6 feet (1.8 meters).

We wouldn't stock a 5 meter power cable unfortunately.

The REl T7i is currently out of stock so I will need to check if and when we are due more in. I've a funny feeling we may not see anymore as the x versions are not out priced at 999 Euro

When you actually go into the product page the "Buy It Now" button has been removed so it can not be purchased.

It does seem the T7x is now the current model and no more T7i will be arriving. (I'll have to get it removed from our website to avoid any confusion).

Was just wondering why cable is important ,and expensive for a subwoofer whose bandwidth is perhaps 200 hertz?

Hi Reboot.

It is well worth budgeting for a good sub cable. There isn’t a massive difference in sound quality but there’s certainly a difference in performance. The cheaper, more standard cables don’t tend to be particularly well shielded. When plugged into a subwoofer they become like an aerial and can pick up interference, particularly if the cable is run close to other cables. This can make the Subwoofer hum loudly when not in use.

The Sub cables are a coax design. This means that there’s a ‘braided screen’ surrounding and protecting the inner conductor. This screen prevents the cable from picking up interference. Cheaper cables would have a thinner screen, whereas something like the Cambridge Audio Sublink or Audioquest Black Lab would be better screened and therefore less susceptible to noise.

Hi Kenny, suggest immediate pay increase for your Belfast staff for Sterling work on my behalf.

They researched,advised ,on technical issues,and found an AV amp for me,for one tenth the price one might expect.

I suspect a similar amp,for connection to a smart TV,with only optical and hdmi arc output would cost thousands.

The amp in question is a, 3.1 ,50 Watts RMS, / channel optical tosslink in,RCA in, phono in ( if preamp provided) ,headphone out, subwoofer out, with remote control.

All for €179.

I bought two,keep it quiet!
