FYI - the new Pros (regular and Max) in 128gb don’t support the 4K Pro Res feature. You need 256gb+

gone from 11 pro max 64gb to 13 standard 128gb blue , i never used the 11 pro max for other than selfie or normal pics out with kids and facebook and browsing web so didnt op for pro or promax

Considering 1 minute of ProRes 4k is roughly 12GB, I can see why they limit it. Hopefully it's just a software limit and there might be a toggle at some point.

as an aside, Forbes really know how to plump out an article on an non-existent issue 😀

I've gone for the iPhone 13 Pro 512GB in Graphite.

I currently have a XS 256GB with plenty of space on it but I'm thinking that I might be shooting more video on the new one so went for the extra storage. The Max, while nice is just that bit too big in my hand to use it comfortably on a day to day basis.

I had a nightmare time trying to pre-order it from Vodafone. It wouldn't allow me to order it online. I tried ringing them on 1901 but couldn't get through. Eventually yesterday I got through on Web Chat. I wasn't given a delivery date, I hope it's not too long.

True - but the network providers always have stock on launch day, I used to just go into Vodafone in Blackrock on the morning and always got one.

No, they’re all locked to networks when you buy from them as they’re subsidised by the networks.

Dropped into compub swords this morning - they seemed to have limited enough stock - i asked for a pro max 13 256 in graphite and they had one so took that... also an over priced clear plastic case... no screen protectors (probably just as well) ill try and pick one up over the weekend. Just setting up now.. id sold my 12 pro max and been using an iphone xr in meantime.. the phone transfer process is very seamless in fairness.. i was tempted to wait and see what the pixel 6 pro does but i know deep down its probably going to be a let down compared to what apple are doing.. but time will tell

Ordered the 256gb 13 Pro Max in Sierra Blue, the blue is actually WAY nicer in person than it looked in the videos!

Went for the new purple leather case...i really hope they release a product red one soon...

i guess depends on your history with phones.. ive only ever dropped one and dented as opposed to breaking anything... i always keep a case on it and screen protector.. maybe with apple care id skip the case etc..

I’m still waiting on my iPhone 13 Pro. Supposed to be delivered on Friday, but UPS had other plans. Still hasn’t even updated since Friday, so no idea when it will be delivered.

Out of curiosity, anyone have to contact UPS before about an Apple order being delayed?
