Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

High pressure regulator - steel filings

Photo shows the high pressure fuel regulator on my HDI engine. Engine cuts out whilst driving.
Low Pressure in-tank fuel pump and fuel filter have been replaced this week.
Can I clean the filter on this regulator or must I buy another new one - it was replaced just over 1yr ago. Also, how can I tell if the high pressure fuel pump is not producing these filings?
